As of December 1, Milton is an official city in the State of Georgia.  This has come after a long and heartfelt process, but it has been worth the ride.  Several things happened on Milton's inaugural day of city-hood: the new City Council members were sworn in (see pictures), the city held its first official City Council meeting, and the City of Milton made history. 

We look forward to the future of this new city and its citizens and wish Milton a long and prosperous journey.
