Around Alpharetta/Milton/Windward
June is coming and so is Memorial Day, pool openings, and summer vacations! It just seems like summertime is full of family time and fun.
The fun has already begun, as you can see our local teens enjoyed their schools’ proms. Look at pages 48 — 50 for photos and more.
There was also plenty of fun for the Alpharetta participants of the Senior Olympics and the Special Olympics. See pages 38 and 39 for highlights.
June brings Father’s Day. Around Town Alpharetta/Milton’s 2007 Father of the Year is Charles Hicks who was nominated by his children, Sammy and Ross. Read about this great dad on pages 14 and 15.
High school graduation is just around the corner. Parents, be sure to send us photos of your graduate so that we can show them off in our July issue. Be sure to add their names and the school that they attended. We would love to have them!
For those who are not quite ready to graduate yet and need a little “boost” for next year, check out our cover story about Huntington Learning Center on page 16 and 17. This is a great place to try to catch up on what you may have missed, to get a head start on what next year brings your way, or to prepare for the SAT or ACT testing. Look it over; it may be just what you need.
