Happy Independence Day! The communities of Alpharetta, Milton, and Windward reveal a mosaic of life through individuals, families, entrepreneurs, businesses, and public servants, both military and government, all participating in preserving our freedom. It is a day to remember and celebrate. The celebration of Independence Day at Alpharetta will kick off at 5 p.m. at Wills Park. You may even see your picture in next month’s issue as you celebrate the 4th.
Our area of North Fulton continues to be a showcase for economic growth. You can see that growth reflected in the increased advertisers of Around Town. Our advertising has doubled in the past eight months. This progress reflects the effective way Around Town Community Magazine "targets" this growing market for our advertisers and it is an indicator of a healthy business environment that is a product of healthy community growth. Thank you for honoring our advertisers with your patronage.
We all experienced healthy growth in our waist lines at the Taste of Alpharetta (see images of the Taste on pages 14 and 15). While you are traveling through the magazine, don’t miss the pictures of your kids both small and large as we feature images from the high school graduations and the various field days.
Are you ready to relax after a hectic vacation? Rediscover the real you. It can happen at Sedona MedSpa. They are featured on our cover this month and you can find their story on pages 16 and 17. While “someone” relaxes “someone” else can get busy with the home improvement ideas found in our new Home Improvement section on pages 23 through 28.
The best country in the world is the United States of America! It is really a union of small communities made up of individuals living lives linked together with common needs. These needs are met through families, churches, businesses, and our government, both local and national. The staff at Around Town Magazine works very hard each month to provide a window of the vibrant life to be found in your community. Enjoy this month's view of "Independence" and life in Milton, Windward, and Alpharetta!
