Ageless Remedies is a medical spa located at the intersection of Windward and North Point Parkways in Alpharetta, in the new Windward Crossing center. The advancement in skin care has been very dramatic in the last few years, coinciding with technology breakthroughs and cancer research. One of the latest advances is an innovative procedure called the Laser Skin Tightening, Non-Surgical Face Lift. It is a two-hour procedure which combats facial veins, hyper-pigmentation, sagging, and tired skin. Mary Jo pointed out that the first patients saw immediate results from the treatment. Two lasers work in conjunction to help the skin repair itself. One helps the skin actually rebuild collagen fiber while it tightens the surface, eliminating lines. The second laser begins to diminish and eliminate the discolorations particularly on the cheek bones and on the sides of the face. A series of three treatments is scheduled one month apart and is a terrific alternative to plastic surgery. There is no downtime, so the patient’s normal schedule is maintained.

Co-owner, Mark Renier said, "We have introduced an effective option to treat acne. It is a new technology called the Isolaz. It was voted the Innovative Product Breakthrough at the American Dermatology convention last year in Las Vegas." It is a broad spectrum laser that does a deep cleaning of the pores and kills the bacteria that causes the redness and swelling. Results from patients who have received this treatment have been remarkable; a mother sent a note saying, "My daughter began receiving Isolaz treatments at Ageless Remedies of Alpharetta when her acne was not being controlled by topical or oral prescription medication. The Isolaz treatments made a significant improvement in the smoothness and reduced the redness of her skin. At a time that is very sensitive for a teenager, my daughter’s medical aesthetician was extremely compassionate. My daughter actually looked forward to the treatments." Renier smiled and said, "Those types of comments make our day." Jay McGraw (Dr. Phil’s son), who hosts the CBS program The Doctors, recently featured the Isolaz procedure as a major breakthrough solution for acne sufferers.

The certified medical aestheticians on staff at Ageless Remedies will also perform peels, facials, waxing, micro-dermabrasions and laser hair removal. One of the technicians told Mark, "We want our customers to look in the mirror tomorrow morning and see a brighter, fresher face looking back." Instead of clients coming in for a generic facial, Ageless Remedies will do a free consultation, then select from eight different facials. "It depends on what the patient needs," Mary Jo added. "We will incorporate exfoliation, or deep cleaning or hydration. The facials feel good and provide results."

The Ageless Remedies staff includes two physician assistants and a nurse practitioner. Their experience in medicine and esthetics makes them ideal to perform Botox and filler injectables. They all have had advanced certification and two are trainers. The services include Botox for the frown lines and Radiesse for the smiles lines, which will immediately take away years. Restylane and Juvederm are also available along with the new Prevelle Silk, which enhances lips and removes vertical lip lines.
